Director's Note
Journey to the Sun is a transformation story. This is a film of friendship which interrogates state of disregard about not only what’s going on far away but also about all around the corner.
This is the story of Mehmet from Tire (west of Turkey) who turns into a mature man from being a naïf boy, by investigating the reality of Berzan’s life who is from Zorduç (east of Turkey), during a long and painful journey.
The film has been shot in real locations with amateur actresses and actors.
